Although we wont guarantee your costume for washing, we do advise customers that they can be washed in the sink in regular detergent and warm water. Do not use fabric conditioner. Once the costume is clean, you must put the costume into a washing machine for a rinse and spin cycle only. A fast spin is best as you need to remove as much water as possible to try and reduce the risk of dark or bright colours running into lighter colours. Then hang up the costume to dry.
Some details are more prone to colour run or damage than others. Lace Applique and fringe can sometimes be tricky. Feathers can run colour and lose their fullness so we wouldnt recommend washing a costume with the feathers still attached if you can help it.
You are always welcome to contact us for further advice on cleaning your costume if you are unsure.
We work to your budget, so you set the price and we will stick to that. We have minimum budget requirements which are as follows -
Beginner costumes (to ADFP requirements) from £60
Starter costumes from £300
Rhinestoned costumes from £600
Performing Arts costumes from £150 (these are usually simple designs, have minimal stones and no accessories)
Pairs costumes from £250 each
Plainwear, we have pre-drawn designs to choose, from £100
This depends on a number of factors such as what you are ordering and when. We will give you a delivery date so you know exactly when you will be receiving your costume. Plainwear we can usually turnaround within two weeks, regardless of the time of year. Rhinestoned costumes can be anywhere from two to eight weeks. We are busiest between March-May and September-November. If you have a specific date for when you need your costume, contact us before booking your consultation and we make sure this slot is available first.
